GZDOC2020初评选片人张楠：潮湿的空间，交叉的记忆，温暖的身体，销蚀的语言，一切在一种后殖**义语境下的集体文化失落中寻**体命运的救赎，并把这种哀呼寄托在海与岸构筑的自然结构之间。这是一部有历史语境，有真切问题，有灵魂触动，充满深沉的神秘主义力量的史诗电影，一部显示着电影作为历史的一部分可以重建身份和民族记忆的作品，主题与艺术方法上达到高度统一，其诗性充沛，令人赞叹。 GZDOC2020初评选片人李米杰：一部很有纹理很有质感的片子，最为亮点的部分就是对“氛围”的建立，整个片子给画面和声音留足了空间，是一个不太费脑，但是却充分调动了人其他感官的片，让人的触觉得到充分的打开，甚至可以感觉到毛孔之间的呼吸。换句话说，这是一个可以让人“感觉到”“触摸到”的片。

#49th IFFR# Bright Future Competition+世界首映。巴拿马片子猎奇一下，摄影和结构还都挺不错的，远离故乡的人都得回到丛林去寻根大概是拉美最大套路？（刚看过[高烧]而且该片也入围了今年鹿特丹，还有一大堆南美片这个路子）。不过港口和船拍得真是美，超8影像也是让影片比较提气的部分。
