小偷叫同伙把医生支走，目的竟然是趁机去医生家，把医生的妻子身上的项链偷走，确实理解不了这脑回路。巴斯特·基顿刚做演员不久，那时他还是配角，还不是冷面笑匠。也许是因为他那时演技还很稚嫩，动不动就大哭、大叫、大笑，而且很浮夸。看了他早期的电影，就能明白为什么他后来的电影都面无表情了。
