古巴的音乐歌词好像总是很简单，诸如amor, corazón, vida, morir这些人类共通的经验感受，也许正是因为歌词简单所以才会被广泛的群众记住，片中除了流浪艺人，普通民众的乐感也很好，音乐已经融入了他们的生活之中，随时都可以来一段jamming。歌词虽简单但并不会觉得俗套，旋律总是那么优美轻快富于变化。尤其喜欢小号和lagrimas negras这首歌。
