希臘帝國在人類文明舞台佔有舉足輕重的份量，可惜在舞台演出的時間太過短促；美洲阿茲提克若不敗於西班牙，今日美洲也可能不是美國的天下；戰國時期秦國統一六國不應該是西元前二二０年，應該是紀錄片的導讀人對中國歷史有所誤解；波斯居魯士Cyrus才堪稱為人類史上最偉大的領導者，文功武略政績斐然；古**才堪稱人類古文明之搖籃。這系列紀錄片實在很没必要穿插戲劇式的演出，徒令人感覺像是偽紀錄而已，再上主持人口音及風格簡直有如在主持娛樂節目，令影片減分不少；而影片中每個主題其實都可以花數倍時間介紹，始得達到介紹的精義，但卻都像蜻蜓點水式得帶過，應該是拜當下全世界都追求速食化的價值觀所賜，實在很可惜。
