很多场景人物设置都是基于现实的夸张讽刺画(caricature)，比较突出的就是*** Centre和Theatre Company，不了解英国的社会结构和文化看这部剧可能会错过很多。里面太多内容如今已经是忌讳，限制增多，好的喜剧越来越难见，只能看着这些旧剧叹一声the good old days。
