男主不识字一直就是一个马车夫，当马死掉时，他四处求助，后面再亲戚哪里落得一份工地上做劳力的工作，可是做了一下午后他就又开始寻找财富的希望了。这点其实挺重要的许多细节都必须要用来解释为什么不去找工作（何况就算找到马车政府也也会慢慢加大管理力度）；到底是为什么呢？他有巨大负债，可是把希望都投在一些不切实际的幻象上，这也不能怪他，不识字，没人脉，祖传行当被**，口才也不行，不管做什么都离他的富贵梦极远，工人的工资或许和马夫差不多，但清闲的马夫工作让他不愿花多倍的劳力获得同等的工钱，拉车还在城市里，有机会刨沙那可真是没机会了（而且走捷径的人肯定一直都想走捷径，**，打劫，挖金子），“有钱”的“希望”有巨大的魔力，最终浑浑噩噩的又碰到损友去挖矿了。或许与社会问题有关，算了不纠结这点了，总之这片不错。
